GRACE COMMUNITY CHURCH

WOMEN'S BIBLE STUDIES

join a bible study!

Bible study allows women to dig deep into the Word and see a clearer, bigger view of God.  Women are placed in small groups to discuss the lessons they have worked on and listen to teaching on the passage they are studying.  They develop community within the group as they share prayer requests and challenge each other to be transformed by the Word.

Coming this spring...

Wednesday Nights - 6:30-8:00pm
Saturday Morning - 9:00-11:00am

Before the Throne is a daily Bible Study for anyone wishing to deepen their intimacy with God in prayer. Each week's lesson provides five days of study. Learn how to pray from the heart like the prophets, warriors, and kings you'll be reading about.

Wednesday Nights - 6:30-8:00pm

Do you struggle to have daily devotional time? Do you struggle to know how to read/study/understand your Bible? The lessons will be done together as you read the verses, mark key words, and discuss the questions. This is a no homework study that will cover these three following book from September-March:
  1. How Do You Know God's Your Father? A study of 1 John.
  2. Ignite Your Passion for God. Do you find yourself doing things out of habit rather than burning passion to serve God? Discover practical steps you can take to ignite a fire that will propel you toward a deeper more meaningful faith.
  3. Understanding Spiritual Gifts. What are spiritual gifts, where do they come from, who has them, how are they received, and how they work in the church?

Tuesday Mornings - 9:15-11:30am

The book of 2 Samuel explores one of the most fascinating stories in all of Scripture, the reign of King David. It contrasts the strong and the weak, the proud and the humble, God's sovereignty and human agenda, and order and chaos in the kingdom. We’ll explore the themes of king and kingdom, pointing us to our divine King, Jesus Christ. This is an 11-week study with small group discussion, prayer, and video teaching by Jen Wilkin and Elizabeth Woodson.
