What is rooted?
Rooted Groups are a 10-week discipleship experience designed to connect people with God, the church, and their purpose. Together, in a group of 10-12 people from all walks of life, you’ll explore the Bible, engage in prayer and service experiences, share stories, and practice rhythms essential to a healthy spiritual life. Being a part of this group will lead you to encounter God together in community and through His Word. It will train you in the 7 rhythms of a disciple (daily devotions, prayer, repentance, service, sacrificial generosity, evangelism, and worship), which we see taught and practiced by the early church in Acts 2.

- What is Rooted? Rooted is a 10-week discipleship program and a catalyst for life-change. It provokes questions and conversations and group experiences designed to give you a glimpse of your story in God’s story.
- What does it cost? The cost is $20 for each participant which covers the cost of the Rooted workbook.
- Who is it For? Rooted is for those who are new believers, it is for new members of Grace, those who are newly attending Grace, or those who need a renewed start in their relationship with the Lord and deeper connection with GCC.
- Where and when does it meet? All of our Rooted groups meet at GCC during the 10:45am service.
- Is there childcare available? Yes! during our 10:45am service we have special children's programming available through 5th grade.
- What if I cannot make all 10 weeks? We understand that Rooted is a large time commitment, but we believe it is worth it to invest in the entire process. If you know you are going to miss more than 2 meetings, we ask that you wait until the next session of Rooted. The 10 weeks are a cumulative experience, and so we ask that every participant commit to honor each other with being at every meeting.
- What is the difference between Rooted and Life Groups? Rooted is the on-ramp and foundation to Life Groups. Our prayer is that at the end of the 10 weeks, you will have created such a great community with your rooted group that it will continue on into a life group.
- Are there scholarships available? We believe that Rooted is a life-changing experience and we want everyone to participate! We understand that the Rooted workbook fee may be a burden for some and we are happy to provide scholarships.
