Part-time, Hourly (32 hours/week)

Role Summary:
The Executive Ministry Assistant provides administrative and creative support to the Executive Pastor. This position will also be a part of the administrative team collaborating to support daily operations of Grace Community Church.
Role and Responsibilities:
General Administrative Assistance to the Executive Pastor: 70%
- Calendar Management
- Agenda preparation
- General updating of the Church Management System
- Project and ministry budget assistance
- Event Planning
- Department policy writing and tracking
General Administration: 20%
- Backup for receptionist, answer incoming calls
- Greet and assist walk-ins with any needs
- Event planning for staff get-togethers
- Assist the Admin team in managing the church calendar
Backup and Support for Financial Manager: 10%
- Basic accounting functions
- HR support
Qualifications:
- Follower of Jesus Christ
- Member of Grace Community Church (can become a member within 3mo of hire)
- Associate degree or equivalent ministry and administrative experience
- Positive and collaborative attitude
- Keen observation skills, highly detailed
- Ability to administrate, organize, and prioritize tasks and goals
- Flexibility with seasonal changes and sudden demands
- Ability to support the recruiting and management of volunteers and team members
- Knowledgeable of Microsoft Office products, such as Excel, PowerPoint, OneDrive, and Word
- Proficient with Google products, such as Google Calendar, Google Drive, and Gmail
- Knowledgeable of project management products, such as Asana
- Basic understanding of accounting
