Chad and Leanna Wiebe
Ministry Description
Chad and Leanna are the developers of SEND's Missions Mobilization Ministry (3M) in Ukraine. The purpose of SEND 3M is to help churches recruit, prepare, and send workers to unreached people groups in Eurasia and Central Asia. Speaking of unreached peoples, what the Bible says about missions and calling believers to pray is an important part of this effort. Chad is also the Ministry Director of Ukraine. Leanna has been working with the translation and printing of Keys for Kids into Ukrainian and Russian and doing seminars for Sunday School teachers and homeschooling moms on how to develop global Christians with a strong perspective on missions. More recently, due to the war, Chad and Leanna have been working with SEND International’s Help Ukraine project to send humanitarian aid and strategic support to local churches across the country ministering the Gospel to thousands of refugees and hurting people. This past year Chad and Leanna have traveled a lot, serving respectively for months in Poland, the US and Ukraine.
Prayer Points for Chad and Leanna Wiebe
- Pray, that people in Ukraine will survive this winter but also turn to God as their Savior in these trials.
- Pray for more funds for generators and stoves for churches, that are opening their doors to receive people who need shelter, hot meals or simply charge their phones.
- Pray for them as they communicate daily with churches in Ukraine and the home office, addressing needs and transferring timely support to ministries in the country.
- Pray for successful delivery of humanitarian aid trucks from Poland to hard hit areas of Ukraine.
- Pray for good distribution of Keys for Kids devotionals to many Ukrainian refugees in Europe around Christmas.
- Pray for wisdom for Chad as Ukraine Ministry Director as he works individually with each of our team members who are serving in different locations in the US, Eastern Europe, and Ukraine.
- Pray for protection, safety and health for family living in Odessa and the Lord's direction as they travel there in January and minister in Kyiv this winter.
